We focus on rides that are over 3km long and are either car-free or on low-traffic roads. Of course that is not the only journey on the map, there are plenty of segments that connect all these rides together.

The Big Sydney Loop

For the endurance riders, check out the Greater Sydney Bike Trail. This is a 230km loop or an equally interesting Sydney 150 trail.

You can ride mostly on shared paths (80%) and see great places such as Centennial Park, the beaches, Woronora Bridge, Prospect Reservoir, Parramatta River, and Lane Cove National Park, ending up at the Harbour Bridge. The trail crosses several train lines and ferries routes that allow bicycles, so you don’t have to do it all in a day!
